Fall Hair Trends 2025: Subtle Changes, Major Impact

Fall Hair Trends 2025: Subtle Changes, Major Impact
Oct 15, 20252 min read
Long gone are the days of dramatic transformations to keep up with the trends. Once upon a time, I bleached and dyed my ends pink (and yes, it was because of Gwen) and rocked a Chelsea cut before Warped Tour (lol) because, well, trends demanded commitment. This fall, we’re keeping our hair, our sanity, and just opting for soft, intentional updates. Think of it as a refresh, not a full identity crisis.

According to Vogue’s Fall 2025 Hair Trends report, the season’s looks are all about wearability, movement, and subtle polish. The bob  (and lob?) continues to dominate, bangs are having a moment, and the glossy, healthy finish is back in a big way.

At Palm Sunday, we’re seeing the same story unfold in the chair. Clients are looking for tweaks that feel personal and natural, like a half head of highlights, a face-framing fringe, treatments that give glossy/fab/healthy hair or a warmer tone that softens the shift into cooler weather.

Here are the looks defining fall for us:

The Flippy Bob

A nod to the ‘90s with a playful twist. The flippy bob has that swingy, effortless energy that pairs perfectly with a chunky knit and a good coat. It’s structured yet soft, making it one of the season’s most versatile cuts.  We luv her.

Warm Blondes

Icy tones are taking a back seat in favour of buttery, honey, and golden blondes. It’s warmth that feels cozy and dimensional..a subtle way to bring brightness to fall without overhauling your colour.

Face-Framing Fringe

Fringe is trending in every form, from soft curtain bangs to more defined, face-framing layers. It’s a flattering way to freshen up your look and add shape without committing to a full fringe.

Glossy Blowouts

Healthy, shiny hair never goes out of style. A glossy blowout gives that polished finish Vogue calls “the new classic.” Think bounce, shine, and movement - all signs of well-cared-for hair.

This fall is about confidence in the little details. Sometimes the most impactful change is the smallest one, and we’re here to help you find your version of the season’s trends.
